Why This Matters

The MBLEx is a nationally recognized exam that sets entry-level standards for massage therapy practice. While 70% of students pass the MBLEx on their first try (compared to 84% for physical therapists and 87% for chiropractors), the pass rate drops sharply to 40% on a second attempt.

In response, AMTA developed this targeted video series, carefully crafted around students’ needs, the most common challenges, and the best ways to learn. The goal: to make the MBLEx less intimidating and more accessible, helping more students succeed on their first attempt.
