The Elizabeth Grady School offers both a 650 hour and 750 hour massage therapy program. These programs consist of modules that provide the student an experiential learning environment and comprehensive understanding of hands-on body massage techniques including: Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, and prenatal massage. The scientific foundations of human biology, anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, and pathology are explored in depth.
Practice and understanding of the complimentary techniques used by massage therapists is applied. These studies include: range of motion, stretching, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and the various energetic practices. Spa therapies and body wraps; personal growth and awareness; and business development, operations, and best practices round out the multiple facets of the Elizabeth Grady Massage Therapy programs.
The Elizabeth Grady School is proud to offer our students the opportunity to put their education into action. In addition to scheduled on-site clinic practice, students may elect to sign up for off-site instructor- monitored events, ie: Boston Marathon, Boston Medical Center, Pan Mass Challenge, etc... and learn in action while supporting our community.
