The mission of the Finger Lakes School of Massage is to prepare each student for a career in Massage Therapy, by providing a holistic education that honors scientific and intuitive approaches to healing, creating a culture that invites exquisite care of self and others, and doing so in an atmosphere of joy, abundance, compassion, curiosity, and respect.
FLSM is a bit different than many massage schools. FLSM helps you become a massage therapist by offering an education that will encourage you to learn not only what you need to know but also what you want to know giving you a balanced and enriching experience. Through our massage therapy education, whether full-time or part-time, we emphasize the development of knowledge and skill, professional preparation and working toward self understanding. In the process, students of our massage schools are invited into a deeper awareness of themselves as learners, as healers and as compassionate members of the human family.
