About Michael

I’ve studied and practiced a variety of massage modalities, including Swedish, Myofascial, Neuromuscular Therapy, Structural Bodywork, Sports Massage and Clinical Injury Treatment techniques. Although I tend to approach the body with a myofascial intent, each appointment with a client is geared to his/her specific needs and goals for the session, incorporating the appropriate techniques as needed. My clients describe my work as deliberate, deep and specific- but please note that ‘deep’ does not need to mean ‘uncomfortable’.

Generally speaking, my sessions tend towards two primary options:

  • In a ninety-minute full-body massage, I work with you to address specific concerns within a full body massage. Ninety minutes allows us enough time to address those specific concerns, while providing a full-body experience.
  • In a sixty-minute massage, we work on issues affecting specific regions of your body. This option allows for concentrated work on areas recovering from injury or chronic pain and tension.

Each client is unique, and each session is different. I provide these session structures as a base line to start a conversation. Please know that we will work together to structure your sessions in a way that helps you best achieve your overall health goals.

Although I primarily see clients on weekdays, limited weekend appointments are available.
