I don’t burn incense, chant, or talk about your “energy fields” or “auras”.
I do, however, use proven massage techniques to help alleviate your aches and pains.
I am licensed with the State of Delaware and have been nationally certified since 1990. I was the president of the Delaware Chapter of the American Massage Therapy Association. I have taught at a local massage school as well as traveled across the nation conducting classes on medical massage.
My advanced training allows me to utilize many different techniques to help alleviate muscular/skeletal aches and pains, headaches, and other chronic conditions, as well as provide treatment for many complex conditions such as post surgical recovery, fibromyalgia, cancer treatments, and anxiety disorders including post traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
In addition, I have developed a wonderful relaxation massage, using flowing swedish strokes, lignt percussion, gentle rocking, and acupressure, which will melt tension and relax your body and mind.
I think globally and act locally. That is, I look at your overall posture, health, and activities and relate them to your particular health problems. I then use various massage techniques to treat your specific concerns.
It is my belief that patients can also help themselves. Sessions include useful suggestions on massage techniques, stretching, and exercises that can be done at home which are targeted for your particular conditions.
For over a decade I have conducted stress management classes to the general public, with an emphasis on using massage.
I have always given back to my community. Currently I do pro bono work at our local VA giving free massages to veterans with PTSD.
I love the power of massage.
