Barbara Ramirez-Kantman

Barbara L. Ramirez Kantman is a Licensed Massage Practitioner and a Certified Medical Assistant. With 20+ years of extensive experience in the medical field accompanied with her newer holisitc approach to wellness has allowed Barbara to offer a uniquely rounded and compassionate approach to massage and healing.  Her calming presence radiates her love for helping others and takes great pride in her work as she will customize each massage for each clients specific needs. Barbara understands that every person has different health and wellness needs and goals. She possess a highly intuitive, mindful and thorough approach to her work. Utilizing her clinical/medical education and experience, she is able to provide a therapeutic, holistic and restorative massage treatment. Developing her signature style of healing treatments, she brings her clients to a  deeper state of relaxation & aims to massage and apply deeper pressure with your breath to create a distinct connection and muscle memory in your body.  Barbara uses a naturally rhythmic and soothing approach that incorporates assisted stretches, trigger point therapy, myofacial massage, cupping therapy and deep tissue massage into your session. She also uses tools such as warm bamboo fusion, fascia blaster application, gua-sha infrared heat and hot stones which provide a gentle grounding and warm undertones for releasing tight or sore muscles. Ashiatsu is the newest adition to Barbara's menu of services.  Essential oils may be used as part of the massage treatment. Barbara has experience working in medical, chiropractic and spa settings. In 2017, she opened the doors to her own business; Studio B Healing Arts & Massage in historic Downtown Prosser, Washington.
