Jenna received her Massage Therapy Certification while studying at the Colorado Institute of Massage Therapy (CIMT), Colorado Springs, Co. While attending CIMT, Jenna also achieved certification in Neuromuscular Massage Therapy by the International Academy of Neuromuscular Therapy (IANMT) which was founded by Judith DeLany in 1984. She has also studied a variety of modalities including myofascial release, deep tissue, sports massage, lymphatic drainage, caniosacral and more. Along the journey in studying massage therapy she also became certified as a Usui Reiki practitioner.
Since then, Jenna has expanded her studies to completing certification in Shiatsu Shin Tai balancing her focus on medical massage to include both Eastern and Western approaches.
Prior to entering the world of healing arts and massage, Jenna originally began studying fine arts while living in North East Pennsylvania where she grow up. Receiving an Associates of Fine Arts at Keystone College followed by a Bachelor of Fine Arts; Sculpture at Marywood University which led to many years as a professional artist. Ultimately, she was then drawn into the direction of healing arts by receiving her first Reiki attunement in 2005.
Jenna's approach to massage is providing a personalized massage treatment integrating a variety of techniques designed to create a mind body connectedness by manipulating soft tissue (muscles, tendons, and fascia) to help relax the body, relieve pain, detox the muscles and joints, and bring her clients to a gentle peaceful place. Jenna has worked with clients who have suffered a variety of symptoms relating to everything from head aches, to pre and post surgeries.
While, Jenna continues practice in clinical massage modalities, Shiatsu Shin Tai has become the primary focus as it is the most effect and transformative, and is always expanding her focus on other eastern based complementary modalities.
