I come from a multicultural counseling Psychology/Family Systems background as well as having 37 years of Professional Licensed Massage experience, so I like to work with the whole person, and I'm very comfortable with any emotions or issues that may come up. I've worked with trauma victims, stress of all kinds, recent and old injuries and surgeries, and because of my own interests and pursuits in these areas, I tend to attract a lot of creative, intuitive people, dancers, performers, bodyworkers, meditators, yogis, yoginis, non-profit employees, infants, children and adults with spinal, head, neck, jaw, shoulder, low back and hip issues which are well served by CranioSacral Therapy as well as all my other modalities.
Having had some developmental trauma myself as well as having been through divorce with a child, I am sensitive to those issues, and I feel honored to be able to help with those kinds of stresses.
I prefer educating my clients and giving them tools to help themselves, as well as helping directly, rather than creating a long-term dependency on my own work.
Compassion, mindfulness, multiculturalism, inclusiveness and justice are always close to my heart.
