About Asha-Lori

After sixteen years of practice, I still love my work.  I've worked in so many environments and studied many, many massage techniques therefore, I am able to tailor a very client specific massage that is unique to you and your needs.

In addition to being a long time massage therapist, I am a long time meditator.  My ability to go into deep inner silence, regardless of the environment, makes it possible to hear your body in ways that others can not.  I can hear subtle emotions in the words you speak during our intake interviews that tell me what kind of energy your body is needing such as empathy, humor, compassion or a purely technical touch or a combintion of all of the above.  I've been 98% accurate and my testimonial page on my website is a good indicator of my intuitive ability.

I've also studied Eugene Gendlin's FOCUSING TECHNIQUE.  This technique teaches you to honor your own body's wisdom and to listen to the ques it gives you regarding your "present moment" needs.  It's a powerful skill for anyone to have who wants deeper self wisdom and I look forward to being able to teach it to you in the near future.

My goal has always been to support my clients desire to be healed, to be empowered and to know thy self.
