Nestled in the heart of Elmwood Village, Connection Studio is a quiet, welcoming space where we offer you private, professional, medically-based massage.
I was graduated with high distinction from Trocaire College, a college specializing in health care training. I earned my Associates degree in Applied Science (A.A.S.) and after extensive study, hands-on experience and testing, I am a licensed massage therapist (LMT) in NY State. I currently have a private practice at Connection Studio.
On a personal note, I broke my back when I was in the 7th grade. I was lucky; I was young, pliable and my bones mended quickly. That was all there was to that, right? Not right. Muscles remember. For years I worked on my muscles where I could reach or, even better, I taught people to work on my muscles where I couldn't reach. I’ve lived with a spinal injury. I know what helps.
When I am not massaging, you might find me in Connection Studio working on some quirky artistic project or another. I love playing American Style Mah Jong and the flute; hunting for all things fabulous at flea markets, and dreaming of one day being able to sew.
I am a proud member of the American Massage Therapy Association.
