AMTA Expands Massage Schools Grant Program Funded by Massage Envy

February 12, 2026

Since 2022, AMTA has announced five recipients of the Massage Schools Grants each fall and spring. Funded by Massage Envy, the Schools Grants are $10,000 awards given with the goal of helping massage schools attract, train, and graduate future generations of highly qualified massage therapists.

Since the program began, we’ve awarded $350,000 in grants—and the response from schools has been nothing short of extraordinary. Massage schools have been able to establish dual-language scholarships, purchase new technology, better market their programs, and so much more. Thanks to these grants, schools have been able to advance the quality of massage education and support the needs of their students.

Today, with the continued generous support of Massage Envy, we are proud to build upon this success by expanding the Massage Schools Grants program!

Beginning this year, AMTA will award 10 schools with $10,000 grants in the fall, and 10 schools with $10,000 grants in the spring—that’s 20 schools each year receiving support and an even stronger investment in the future of massage therapy.

The expansion of the Massage Schools Grants program reflects our belief in your schools, in your students, and in what’s possible when we invest in the profession together! said Diane Cooley, CFE Senior Vice President, Brand Experience Massage Envy Franchising
