AMTA offers several levels of membership and prices to suit your needs. The Join AMTA section of the website provides a breakdown of each of these levels of membership, their prices, and the qualifications to join.

You can join AMTA directly from our website. Visit the Join AMTA section and pay with your Visa, MasterCard, American Express or Discover Card. You may also call us toll-free at 1-877-905-0577 to apply by phone, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Central Time.

AMTA provides professional and general liability insurance, which covers members for $2 million per incident and $6 million aggregate annually. Liability insurance is included in our Student*, Graduate and Professional membership packages. To learn more about AMTA's insurance benefits, check out our liability insurance information.
*No coverage is afforded to Student Enrolled Members for providing massage therapy services outside of school sanctioned and directed activities.

AMTA offers health, disability and other optional insurance plans. For more information on these plans, contact our insurance administrator, AGIA, at 866-803-6773 or visit www.amtabenefits.com. They can answer any questions you have about our optional insurance plans.

No. Multiple submissions can result in multiple charges to your credit card. If this error occurs, contact AMTA at 877-905-0577 so we can confirm whether your application was received. If it wasn't, we can take your application and payment by phone. Please copy the error message and email it to us.
AMTA Members

The login name is your AMTA membership number or a username created by you. You can find this number on the front of your membership card, or on the address label of Massage Therapy Journal. If your login is successful, a page will appear with a welcome message using your first name.
If you forget your password, click the "forgot your password" link to reset your password.
If you are still unable to log in, make sure cookies are enabled in your browser. In Internet Explorer, this is done by selecting "Internet Options" from the "Tools" menu, clicking on the "Privacy" tab, and adjusting the Privacy Level. A Privacy Level of "Medium" is best.

AMTA Professional, Graduate and Student members can view and download their certificate of insurance forms online. This form can be accessed through your account profile. Get started!

Listing in the Find a Massage Therapist national locator service is for Professional Active and Graduate members. Enrollment is voluntary; AMTA does not automatically list Professional Active and Graduate members. To be listed, create your Find a Massage Therapist profile.

You can update or change information on your profile by managing your Find a Massage Therapist locator service profile page (Professional Active members only).

You can renew online or call AMTA toll-free at 877-905-0577 (Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Central Time).

- Driver's license/state ID
- Divorce decree
- Marriage license
- Government issued name change document displaying your current address
