This award acknowledges diligent volunteerism performed in an altruistic manner.
This award is the highest award bestowed upon an AMTA member by a chapter.
About the Chapter Meritorious Award
Purpose
- To openly honor an AMTA member
- To acknowledge diligent volunteerism done in an altruistic manner
History
- Award established in 1969
- Has been given annually since that time
- Recipients are honored annually
- Recipients will receive a recognition plaque from the National office
Qualifications
- Recipient is an active AMTA member for at least three (3) years in good standing
- Only one (1) nominee from each chapter can be a recipient
- Recipient shall not have received this award in the last 3 years
- Chapter board must approve recipient
