Cristy C. Hunter

Cristy is a licensed massage/manual therapist with over 17 years of experience and over 2500 hours of education hours in the field of bodywork. Although she has extensive knowledge in a variety of bodywork modalities, she specializes in the John F. Barnes approach to Myofascial Release Therapy (MFR) and Erik Dalton's Myoskeletal Alignment Technique (MAT). She believes that gentle, sustained pressure on areas of pain, stress and strain can produce lasting and permanent results by relieving deep restrictions on muskuloskeletal soft tissue. She also believes that proper skeletal alignment between and including the neck and pelvis is vital to ones overall health. In addition to educating on proper nutrition, meditation and exercise, her expert knowledge of manual therapy can provide an individual better movement in their body, increased energy and overall well-being.
