As a former dancer and choreographer, I began my study of human anatomy and physiology for the sheer enjoyment of movement. In time, injuries and self-preservation required my need to understand how to correct, maintain and preserve my body. Massage Therapy fulfilled this need.
I have been a massage practitioner since 1998, graduating from Florida College of Natural Health with honors and as the recipient of its Golden Touch Award.
Augmenting my studies in a doctorate program at Southeast Oriental Medicine and Acupuncture, I committed myself to learning many of the ancient healing arts, with a western approach. My repertoire of techniques include:
- Active Isolated Stretching
- Deep Tissue Massage
- Hot Stone Therapy
- Integrated Energy Therapy
- Myofascial Release
- Swedish Massage
- Sports Massage
- Thai Massage
- Trigger Point therapy
I specialize in both rehabilitative and relaxing massage techniques, emphasizing pain relieve and prevention, by maintaining rigorous training programs and continuing my education in the advancing field of massage
I have also served as Spa Director for several leading Resorts and Spas in the South Florida area. My client list has ranged from Celebrities, Royal Families, Competitive Athletes and most importantly, people from all backgrounds and income levels.
I am proud to serve on the medical team as massage therapist with the International Dance Company---Riverdance.
