Sandy Ann Chase

Hi! My name is Sandy Chase. I grew up around Gray, Georgia. I graduated from Jones County High School in 1987.

I recently moved back to Gray and am really excited to open a Massage Therapy business in my hometown.

I became a massage therapist almost 10 years ago because I was looking for a natural way to treat some muscular problems that I was having.  I found the perfect treatment through massage therapy.

Once I fixed my problems I decided that I wanted to help other people with their muscular problems. I finished massage school and went to work for several different Chiropractors. At each place that I have worked, I have learned new techniques for medical massage, as well as advanced stretching and relaxation techniques.

I have taken many continuing education classes and obtained a diploma denoting that I have successfully completed all training necessary to be designated a Certified Medical Massage Practitioner (MMP).  I went back to college years ago at Athens Technical College and at North Georgia State University in order to study advanced Anatomy and Physiology, Chemistry and Biology classes. I graduated from Middle Georgia State College with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. I am currently undertaking plans to receive an ND diploma for a Doctor of Naturopathy program and to become certified in Nutritional Counseling.

I believe that massage therapy is an invaluable resource for specific soft tissue injury correction. I am always willing to come to groups and give free talks and mini-seminars about the benefits of massage and the different types of massage that are available.
