About
When one thinks of clinical professionalism backed with an extensive knowledge of the musculoskeletal system, the name Andrew Collins comes to mind! Andrew is a versatile manual therapist who has experience ranging from relaxation, Swedish, deep tissue, neuromuscular, post-isometric muscular release, proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation, sports, prenatal and fascial stretch techniques.
Andrew was born and raised in the mountains of western North Carolina where he was extremely involved in football, wrestling, baseball, martial arts and music. He enjoys outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, tying flies, hiking and kayaking, and is a second degree black belt in Chung Sil Kwon Taekwondo. Andrew is a classically trained vocalist with a bachelor’s degree in music from Brevard College in Brevard NC, and has had extensive professional experience in the music field.
From this experience and knowledge combined with his studies in manual therapy, Andrew has a detailed understanding of how to assist the avid sports enthusiast or professional as well as how to enhance the vocal instrument as a whole. He realizes the importance and benefits of massage therapy techniques to maintain the instruments of the human body.
Andrew is a worship leader at his church in Murfreesboro where he lives with his wonderful wife of almost seventeen years, Rebecca, their son Titus (5 yrs old), who they were blessed to adopt from China, and their son Levi (11 months old). They have a Jack Russell named Rocky, and a cat named Dinah.
