About
Dr. Graff’s education in massage, dance, art, poetry, music and food preparation began at age three, initially mentored by her parents. At age 10, she was encouraged to learn Reflexology and Shiatsu, and observed her father’s [pastoral] healing practice, the Laying on of Hands. She attended Young Harris College, University of Georgia (B.S.Ed.) in Art Education, with continuing studies, (M.Ed.) at Georgia State University. Her professional studies allowed for an easy transition into a career in licensed massage therapy (LMT: SC Lic# 1796, since 1991, with continuing certifications in healing bodywork. Additionally, she continues an interest in human science, and the practice of compassion and [natural] care for human beings.
Further, professional certifications include the following: National Certification for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork, (NCTMB) since 1994, acupressure, reflexology, shiatsu, birth doula; labor & delivery, infant massage, elder homecare, lymphatic drainage (2014); venous & lymphatic decongestion therapy, lymphatic homecare; compression wear.
Dr. Graff is currently licensed to practice massage therapy in South Carolina. Her near, 35 years of work in the field of massage and bodywork carries an emphasis in assessment, rehabilitation and pain-relief and relaxation–facilitating the integration and communication between all body systems.
Dr. Graff also has experience in developing and organizing health events and programs of study–furthering a focus on movement, posture, wellness, balance and core strength. As a continuing education provider, through the state of South Carolina, Dr. Graff has had past invitations to teach and coordinate health events.
Since 2013, Dr. Graff has completed certifications in natural healthcare. She expanded her skills in 2011 as a classically-trained Naturopathic Doctor, ND from Trinity School of Natural Health, with accreditation and board certification through the American Naturopathic Medical Certification Board, ANMBC. She also earned a Doctorate of Completion in Natural Medicine, DNM and PhD from the International Quantum University for Integrative Medicine (IQUIM) in 2013, with an emphasis on energy medicine.
