Stephen Conti, B.A., LMT, is a licensed massage therapist, health and wellness coach, and senior strength trainer, as well as the founder, lead therapist, and trainer of Tocar Spa and Tocar Sport (www.tocarspa.com). Stephen has worked in both clinical and sports environments for the past 10 years, and concentrates his practice on orthopedic and pre-event sports and recovery massages. Currently, Stephen is the lead massage therapist for the U.S. Soccer Federation U17 Men’s team. He has provided sports massages for the 2015 U17 World Cup Qualifiers and U17 World Cup (Chile), and the 2015 U20 World Cup Camp and U20 World Cup (New Zealand). Stephen is also the massage therapist for the University of Maryland’s Men’s Soccer and Lacrosse teams, and works with the University’s NCAA Champion Women’s Lacrosse team.
Stephen has lectured massage therapy graduates at the Potomac Massage Training Institute (Washington, D.C.) and Holistic Massage Training Institute (Baltimore, MD), as well as massage therapy technicians at several Massage Envy franchises. In addition, he teaches free community lectures at PMTI to help promote massage therapy practices and awareness. Stephen received his B.A., Communications, from the University of Maryland College Park.
