Kathryn A. Perlman

I am a somatic practitioner with a license in manual touch therapy, (LMT) and a certified clinical hypnotherapist. I've been working with individuals since 2004, guiding mind-body healing, trauma recovery, and behavioral transformation. Hands-on touch has been a huge part of my work up to 2025. I'm currently shifting gears to expand my work to the virtual world, concentrating on somatic intelligence development through online sessions. 

This is the type of work that centers on the understanding that the body and mind function as an intelligent, deeply intradependent system, where physical pain, emotional history, beliefs, and behavioral patterns are often interconnected.

I've maintained a private bodywork practice throughout my career, and have collaborated with physicians, mental-health professionals, and multidisciplinary wellness teams in retreat environments, rehabilitation settings, and integrative care programs throughout the United States. Working with these different care-environments has shaped a pragmatic yet deeply spiritual and evidence-informed approach to somatic healing work that focuses on coherence between mind, body, and the emotions we feel and experience. 

My specialty lies in helping individuals deepen interoceptive awareness and develop a real and foundational connection to their somatic intelligence, which allows them to resolve the imprints of trauma, transform unwanted behaviors, and rewrite new scripts of self-identification that serve who they are becoming.   

I am curently based in San Juan, Puerto Rico and Phoenix area, Arizona.
