Brien is a graduate of the Bancroft School of Massage Therapy and an NCBTMB nationally certified therapist. He is certified in myofascial release, facilitated stretching and trigger point therapy.
As an avid runner, cyclist and weight trainer he has first-hand familiarity with the aches and pains and common overuse injuries associated with these sports – because he’s had more than a few of them himself!
His main focus in a massage treatment will be to structure a session to fit your individual needs. Whether you are looking to recover from an injury, restore sore and tired muscles or simply relax and recharge, he will work with you to come up with the ideal treatment plan.
Brien is also active in the Rhode Island theater and music scenes and is a Resident Artist at Olneyville’s Wilbury Theater Group. Runners with a sense of humor may also recognize him as the so-called ‘evil genius’ behind the Wild Colonial Tavern’s Grog & Dog Jog, an annual fundraising relay.
