Karen P. Trevizo-Diaz

I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Southern California University of Health and Sciences in 2012 and am state-certified by the California Massage Therapy Council (CAMTC 32886). In 2009, I received my B.A. in Dance with a focus on Movement Studies from Scripps College. During my undergraduate study, I studied mind and body connection and movement modalities such as Alexander Technique, Bartenieff Fundamentals, and Laban Movement Analysis. In 2008, I was awarded The Lucile Phillips Morrison Scholarship, which allowed me to attend the Moving On Center School of Participatory and Somatic Research in Oakland, CA, to take courses in Bartenieff Fundamentals with Peggy Hackney, and Alexander Technique and Somatic Therapy with Carol Swann.
