Hands-On Fascial Therapy Workshop

AMTA 2017 National Convention | Pasadena, California

September 13, 8am - 5pm | 8 CE Credits

Fundamentals of Fascial Therapy (Hands-on)

Pete Pfannerstill, BCTMB, has been a licensed sports massage therapist since 1997. The founder of UltraSports Massage Therapy, Inc. in Tampa, he specializes in myofascial sports massage, structural integration and the Kinesio Taping® method. As a NCBTMB approved provider, Pete teaches myofascial sports massage courses and the Kinesio Taping® method as a certified Kinesio Taping® instructor.

Take an inside look at practical applications of fascial therapy. Explore various styles, techniques and philosophies of fascial therapy, and the physiological responses of both the fascia and the rest of the body to the techniques.

Note: This is part of an in-depth, two-part program outlining fundamental information on the numerous techniques related to fascial therapy.

Earning CE Credit

Participants in the Fundamentals of Fascial Therapy workshop must be present the entire time while actively participating and demonstrating skills and knowledge as outlined by the instructor to earn CE credits.

After successful completion of this course, attendees can view the eight CE credits on their online CE profile. To access your profile, log on to AMTA Education and select View Your CE Transcript. Contact AMTA if you have questions about your CE profile.

About Part Two: Hands-On Workshop

The eight hour, hands-on workshop will include both explanations and demonstrations of some fascial techniques. Attendees will be required to practice and demonstrate the techniques in order to successfully complete this component of the program.

The in-person workshop is generally offered as a pre-convention workshop before AMTA’s National Convention. The cost of travel, hotel accommodations and other personal expenses are not included in the program fee and are the responsibility of the student. Individuals participating in the Part Two face-to-face component will need to bring a massage table and other class needs to the workshop.
