Why Kim Kane-Santos Is AMTA
1st VP AMTA-Pa

Kim's Winning Submission:

I am AMTA!

Ohhhhh AMTA, how do I love thee?

 Let me count the ways…

 I am growing!

From student membership to my first volunteer position as unit secretary, my membership with the American Massage Therapy Association has provided me with a great degree of personal development (and lasting friendships too!). This journey has pushed me to new heights and I now serve as 1st VP on the board of the Pennsylvania chapter.

Thank you so much for providing tools that allowed for this growth and boost in confidence!

I am protected!

As a professional member of AMTA, I have found comfort in knowing that all the effort I put in to obtaining my massage certification is recognized and protected. AMTA standards validate the profession.

Thank you for your ongoing efforts to promote and enhance the professional image of those working in the massage profession!

 I am united!

Not having a network of co-workers to lean on made the beginning of my career a bit lonely. But the local meetings and State & National Conferences are great networking opportunities, wonderful learning experiences and of course, a whole lot of FUN!!

Thank you for the endless possibilities!

 I am having FUN!!

I value my membership and ALL that it has to offer...the growth, protection and networking
 opportunities I’ve received are PRICELESS!

Why Arianne Boyajian Is AMTA
East Longmeadow, MA

Arianne's Winning Submission:

I would like to explain why I am AMTA. I have been a massage therapist going on 6 years now. From the very beginning, I have loved every aspect of it, from the learning to the working. Every bit of how the body works and how massage therapy can help in injury recovery, relaxation, stress relief and much more fascinates me.

I have been an AMTA member since 2007. I have taken some continuing education courses through AMTA that were very helpful. I look forward to taking more. I honor and practice everything the AMTA has taught me and uphold my license, credibility, and education to the highest standards.

I make sure that my AMTA certificate and plaque, along with my continuing education certificates, are front and center in my office so my clients can not only see my accomplishments, but also see how serious and dedicated I am to AMTA and my profession as a massage therapist.

I would like to extend my gratitude to the AMTA for fighting so hard to give massage therapists the respect, honor, and decency that they all deserve I truly am grateful to be a part of this wonderful organization, Thank you for all of your work to keep this business alive and thriving. This is why I am so dedicated to AMTA, and why I am AMTA!
