The Massage Therapy Foundation at AMTA National Convention

We are excited to be a part of the 2012 AMTA National Convention, which is taking place October 3-6, 2012, in Raleigh, North Carolina. You can choose from several Research Track CE Courses, or the Post-Convention workshop with Ben Benjamin, The Assessment and Treatment of the Most Common Cervical Injuries, whose proceeds benefit the MTF.

Call for Posters

We are now accepting submissions for Poster Sessions at the 2012 AMTA National Convention. Submission guidelines and resources for creating posters are available on our website. Learn more here.

Golf Outing to Benefit the MTF

Join us on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, before the AMTA National Convention for our 2nd annual Golf Outing. Last year’s outing raised more than $9,500 for the Massage Therapy Foundation! We’d like to top that this year and we need your participation to do so. You don’t even have to be a golfer to play, just ask Leslie Young, an MTF Trustee who had a great time last year despite her lack of golfing skills. Learn all of the details and register on our website.

Sponsor the Golf Outing

The success of the MTF Golf Outing not only depends on the players but the sponsors as well. There are several sponsorship opportunities available at various levels starting at $100! See which sponsorships are available here.

Practitioner Case Report Contest

Share your expertise in the field with your peers by writing a case report. The deadline to submit is October 1, 2012. Access resources and download the guidelines on our website.

2013 Research Conference

The International Massage Therapy Research Conference – Presented by the Massage Therapy Foundation (IMTRC) will take place April 25-27, 2013, in Boston, Massachusetts. Massage therapists, educators, and researchers are invited to attend. Conference registration will open in October 2012. Learn more about the 2013 Conference and download the call for abstracts.
