AMTA Remembers Thomas Fink

Thomas R. Fink, the only person to have served as AMTA National President for two non-consecutive terms (1965-68, 1976-78) passed away Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at his home in Pennsylvania at the age of 89.

He was a founding member of the AMTA Pennsylvania Chapter and twice served as president of the chapter. In 1981, he was one of the first members to receive AMTA's Distinguished Service Award. Tom was a massage therapist for more than 60 years and worked for many years at YMCAs in York, Abington, Philadelphia and Easton, Pennsylvania.

"AMTA and my chapter have already given me back so much
that I cannot believe I ever considered another group."

Chris B., AMTA member since 2012
