Education Requirements
- 600 education hours from a board-approved massage therapy school.
These hours must include:

- 300 classroom hours in massage therapy or bodywork therapy theory, technique, and practice, which shall include 100 classroom hours of supervised hands-on practice
- 125 classroom hours in anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology
- 50 classroom hours in business, law and ethics, which shall include at least 6 classroom hours
- 20 classroom hours in student clinic
- 5 classroom hours in adult cardiopulmonary resuscitation and standard first aid
- 300 classroom hours in massage therapy or bodywork therapy theory, technique, and practice, which shall include 100 classroom hours of supervised hands-on practice
