Education Requirements
- 750 education hours from a board-approved massage therapy school.
These hours must include:

- 150 hours of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology
- 130 hours of introductory massage therapy courses, including basic and allied modalities, contraindications, sanitation, disease prevention and massage theory
- 120 hours of other content related to massage therapy
- 50 hours of business practices, career development and professional ethics
- 40 hours of pathology
- 10 hours of First Aid and CPR
- 150 hours of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology
