Joanna Volkoff

Joanna Volkoff (BS, LMT, COTA/L, CLT) is the licensed massage therapist and owner of Summit Springs Therapies, llc. Practicing bodywork since 2001 and having studied a wide range of modalities from medical massage to Eastern techniques, she tailors the treatment to meet the clients needs. She works with balancing structural alignment, decreasing myofascial pain, improving range of motion and movement therapy exercises. She assists clients in recovery from injuries (motor vehicle and sports related) and utilizes a variety of techniques, such as cupping, trigger point therapy or myofascial work. She also works with surgical and injury recovery clients to decrease scar tissue, pain and increase mobility. She is a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT- Klose Training 2018) and works with clients with a variety of issues including oncology and post surgical care to help decrease lymphedema, swelling and pain. In addition to her bodywork education, she holds a Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Oregon State University. She also is a Certified Occupational Therapist (COTA/L) and has worked with treatment teams treating patients recovering from stroke, concussion and traumatic brain injury (mTBI). She is skilled and familiar with symptoms and treating clients recovering from stroke and TBI and is skilled at co-treating with the patients primary care provider and recovery rehab team.**** Our apologies: We are not accepting new patients at this time.
