Autumn Starnes

Autumn Grace Starnes is a Board Certified Massage Therapist with a studio located within the Charlottesville Wellness Center in Charlottesville Virginia. She has been state licensed by the board of Nursing in Virginia and nationally certified by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork since 2004. She uses a combination of Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Myofascial Release massage to treat various muscular problems. Deep Tissue is her most utilized modality, and she specializes in the treatment of upper back, neck, and shoulder problems caused by computer and commuter strain (i.e. many long hours at the office and lengthy commutes each day). Autumn is also a Certified Infant Massage Instructor, Prenatal Therapist, Hot Stone Therapist,  Cold Stone Therapist (treatment for Migraines), Integrative Reflexologist and Thai Massage Practitioner and has a degree from the University of Pittsburgh in Communications and Rhetoric. She has also recently studied Equine Animal Massage and is now certified in this modality. Autumn is originally from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and now lives near the mountains in Ruckersville, Virginia with her husband and two children. Autumn loves to go to the beach with her family and to go hiking in the Blue Ridge.
