Hospital Survey Shows Growing Use of Massage Therapy

A study just released on behalf of the American Hospital Association/Health Forum shows massage therapy as the most used complementary/alternative form of outpatient care in U.S. hospitals and second highest in inpatient usage among therapies measured. Sixty-four percent of hospitals report using massage therapy as part of outpatient care, with 44 percent using it as part of inpatient care.
