Sharon Houlihan, LMT, CLT, CIMI has been a massage therapist since 1997 in a variety of settings, with a focus on working with the medically fragile population of all ages. A strong believer in the need for touch from cradle to grave, she has experience teaching new parents how to massage their newborns, as well as treating palliative care and end of life patients. Currently in private practice, Sharon worked as a Lymphedema therapist for 4.5 years, and specializes in Manual Lymphatic Drainage for a variety of conditions from cancer care to wellness.
Each treatment is tailored to your specific needs.
She is available for nursing home, hospital, or home visits in the boroughs of Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn. She is also available to speak on the benefits of massage therapy, and offers instruction on easy to perform self care methods.
Hours & times are flexible. She does not carry a table. Treatments are performed on your massage table or on a bed.
