"My goal and passion in working with my clients is to aid in their healing by allowing their bodies to realize their innate power to heal themselves. My clients are individuals who are seeking balance in their hectic lives and are committed to making change in their bodies, emotions, minds, and spirits. Through Bodywork & Massage, my clients are empowered to participate in their own healing."
Each type of Bodywork & Massage that Autumn practices has an energetic component that focuses on the whole client, working through the body, rather than just working on the body. Bodywork & Massage affect not only the body, but they affect emotions, minds, and spirits as well.
Some benefits of bodywork and massage include:
Facilitation of energy flow to the extremities;
Restoration of energy flow to a state of balance throughout the body; Soothing and balancing of mental and emotional changes;
Release of residual, toxic energies;
Becoming more embodied and self-aware;
Awareness of sensations, breath, and energy;
Urging the body to move in its most efficient way;
Quieting the mind to direct focus to self;
Stimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest system, rather than the flight or fight system).
