About Douglas

Specialties: Intuitive Bodywork, Cranio-Sacral Therapy, Neuromuscular Technique, Myofascial Release, Polarity Balancing, Reiki, Ayurvedic Head Massage, Sports Massage, Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Sacro-Fascial Technique (AFAT), Trager Resistance-Release Work and  Bodywork for PTSD.

My goal in providing body work is to help physical and emotional problems creating a strong mind-body connection that enhances life on all levels.  I work from a philosophy of integrative medicine, and find less invasive modalities of treatment typically resonate as the best choice for clients.  I teach and guide clients to consciously engage with their bodies to allow fluid processing of sensory information, and to connect with their self-regulatory responses to effectively heal themselves.

Continuing education is the cornerstone of my practice. I regularly seek out top, NCBTMB-certified teachers to improve and expand my base of knowledge.  My goal is to have many tools in my “treatment kit” to suit individual client’s therapeutic needs.
