About Kathiana

It was Kathiana's own injuries during Seido Karate and working at NYU Medical Center with cancer patients that led her to a career in massage therapy. She understands first hand how injuries can not only be physical, but the emotional toll that can accompany them can be hard for all people, from the athlete to a mother raising children.  It is both her compassion and passion for health that makes her massage unique. Kathiana  graduated from The Swedish Institute in 2009. She specializes in Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pre & Post natal, Sports, Myofascial and cupping techniques.

She completes the circle of touch as a yoga teacher; she has been a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 2005 and was certified under Ann-Margaret Redding in Chakra/Hatha Yoga last year. She teaches in both in studios and privately in the  NYC area. She is very passionate about teaching and giving people tools to managing stress and keeping at their optimal health. Combining both yoga and massage has been the ultimate joy. Her clients describe her as a knowledgeable and compassionate therapist. Whether it is  a medical or spa setting, you will receive therapeutic work.
