After 28 years working as a massage therapist, she no longer accepts new clients for general massage therapy services.
Lydia began her career as a massage therapist in 1995, after studying at The Myotherapy College of Utah, in Salt Lake City. From 2015-2016 she attended a series of seminars by John Morgan at The Western North Carolina School of Massage in Asheville, and was certified in Clinical Neuromuscular and Structural Bodywork. She learned NMT techniques to release TMJ, neck and back pain, migraine/headache, sciatica, plantar fasciitis, frozen shoulder, and tennis elbow. She is also certified in Pregnancy and Postpartum Massage, Geriatric or Senior Massage and Reflexology, and CranioSacral Therapy.
She began attending Upledger Institute International's CranioSacral classes in 2018 and continues to improve her skills as a CranioSacral therapist by attending classes and study groups throughout the U.S. She is excited about this work and believes everyone needs to experience CranioSacral Therapy!
