Check class descriptions for materials lists (available when provided by the instructor) before registering for your class selections. Note that courses requiring a table and other class demonstrating techniques have a cap on attendance to enrich the learning experience. Register early for the widest selection of classes.
Specialized Learning Options
When planning your convention education selections, look for courses designated as research track (developed in partnership with the Massage Therapy Foundation) and teachers track.

Continuing Education Credit
AMTA is approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage (NCBTMB) as a continuing education approved provider. All courses are submitted for state CE, if appropriate. View current approvals by state here. Before practicing any new modalities or techniques, check with your state’s massage therapy regulatory authority to ensure they are within the state’s defined scope of practice for massage therapy.
CE verification cards will be provided for your records. AMTA member CE credits are posted to your online transcript.
