About the author(s)

Susan Salvo, EdD is a board certified massage therapist with over 35 years of experience, has authored two widely used textbooks, and presents at seminars across the country. Her teaching and research focuses on advancing the fields of Massage and Education. In 2014, Susan was honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award presented by the American Massage Therapy Association.
