AMTA’s House of Delegates approves position statements that express the view of the association on the value and efficacy of massage therapy. If you believe the association should make a public statement on some aspect of massage therapy that you can strongly support with documented research, consider writing a proposal for the 2016 House of Delegates.
If you want to be sure your proposal can be considered in 2016, submit it to the Position Statements Review Commission by January 15, 2016.
See how to submit a proposed position statement.
Read AMTA’s approved position statements and think of ways you can use them and the research supporting them to promote your practice and the value of massage therapy.
