The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) national convention is September 25-28 in Fort Worth, Texas. All massage therapists and students are welcome at the convention and encouraged to take advantage of early-bird rates for registration by July 15.
The AMTA convention continues to be the largest gathering of massage therapists, students, educators and product companies in the massage therapy profession.
The convention brings attendees together to engage in the highest quality education in the profession, to connect with other massage therapists, and take advantage of vast resources in the exhibit hall, so they will thrive in their careers. Thought-provoking speakers will stimulate dialogue and give attendees tools they can use immediately in their practices.
As AMTA celebrates its 70th anniversary, attendees will have access to more than 35 courses of continuing education, including special programming options for teachers, researchers and students. Continuing education sessions fill up early so massage therapists should register early to ensure they can attend every session of their choice.
All classes are submitted in advance for continuing education approval by those states that require it, so massage therapists practicing in any state can rest assured that their convention experience will meet the high-quality standards they need to maintain their licenses.
The opening session will include highlights from AMTA’s consumer awareness program and the AMTA Massage Therapy Tour, recognition of the achievements of AMTA members and chapters, as well as keynote speaker Doc Hendley of Water to Wine.
