AMTA National Convention Registration is Now Open

The American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) announces that registration for its national convention, to be held in Fort Worth, Texas from September 25-28, is now available online. All massage therapists and students are welcome at the convention and encouraged to take advantage of early-bird rates for registration.  The AMTA convention continues to be the largest gathering of massage therapists, students and product companies in the massage therapy profession.

The theme of the convention is Engage, Connect, Thrive to inspire attendees to engage in the highest quality education in the profession, to connect with other massage therapists, and take advantage of vast resources in the exhibit hall, so they will thrive in their careers. Thought-provoking speakers will stimulate dialogue and give attendees tools they can use immediately in their practices.  Continuing education sessions fill up early and AMTA encourages massage therapists to register early to ensure they can attend every session of their choice.

As AMTA celebrates its 70th anniversary, attendees will have access to more than 35 courses of continuing education, including special programming options for teachers, researchers and students.  All classes are submitted in advance for continuing education approval by those states that require it, so massage therapists practicing in any state can rest assured that their experience will meet the high-quality standards they need to maintain their licenses.

This year will also feature an overview of the profession-wide Entry-Level Analysis Project and what it can mean for massage schools, students and future massage therapists. Join AMTA for education, networking, collaboration and fun in Texas.
