Planning Your Trip

Jump ahead: Detroit, Grand Rapids, Indianapolis, Iowa City/Cedar Rapids, Minneapolis

Leaving from Detroit

Approximately a 5.5-6 hour drive. Possible stops include:

Battle Creek/ Kalamazoo, Michigan

  • Learn about the history of aviation at Air Zoo in Kalamazoo.
  • Go apple or pumpkin picking at one of the regions many orchards .

Bridgman, Michigan

  • Visit Weko Beach on Lake Michigan.
  • Go on one of the easy hikes at Warren Dunes State Park. Most trails are under a mile.

Gary, Indiana

Leaving from Grand Rapids

Approximately a 4-4.5 hour drive. Possible Stops Include:

SOUTH Haven, Michigan

Bridgman, Michigan

  • Visit Weko Beach on Lake Michigan.
  • Go on one of the easy hikes at Warren Dunes State Park. Most hikes are under a mile.
