(Evanston, IL - April 12, 2004) - The American Massage Therapy Association announces a new national sponsorship
program in an effort to continue to generate non-dues revenue to support both present and future member programs
and services. The AMTA Board of Directors approved the national sponsorship program at its October 2004 meeting
and implementation begins this month.
“Our new sponsorship program was developed to foster our
strategic focus of providing products and services to help the public and
healthcare communities understand the value of massage delivered by AMTA
members as a regular part of one’s healthy lifestyle”, stated Mary Beth Braun, President of AMTA.
Each sponsorship will be custom-designed to accommodate various
budgets and will be attractive to both small and large businesses. Many of the
sponsor opportunities will be tied to events including the National Convention,
Council of Schools meetings and National Massage Therapy Awareness Week.
