About Scott

Scott Mayer draws on a diverse background in Western Medical Sciences, Chinese Medicine and many Esoteric Traditions and has over 35 years experience in Healing, Meditation and Martial Arts. Having studied with dozens of internationally prominent teachers, he brings a broad perspective to his work and understands both the science and art of bodywork and mindful living. He is a professional Consulting Hypnotist, Master Level Qi Healer, Licensed Massage Therapist, and Medical Qigong Therapist.

In his 23 years of therapeutic bodywork he has worked with over 25,000 people. He has conducted hundreds of classes and lectures at medical schools, universities, healing arts schools and centers and Five Star resort spas throughout the East Coast. Scott is the founder of the Plum Blossom Zen Shiatsu Association and Ume Shakuhachi Works and maintains professional affiliations with the the National Guild of Hypnotists, the Wudang Daoist Association, the Chinese Healing Arts Center and American Massage Therapy Association.
