About Michelle
I am a California certified massage therapist with 15 years of experience in Swedish, deep tissue, and pregnancy massage. My massage feels good; it is both deeply relaxing and rejuvinating. I provide exactly the depth and quality of pressure you crave with skill, sensitivity, and responsiveness. My clients appreciate that, while I am very strong and good at treating pain and injury, I am equally gentle and provide a luxurious rather than a "clinical" experience. I offer 1-hour to 2-hour sessions to allow time for a thorough and truly therapeutic massage.
I am also a certified Feldenkrais Method® Practitioner. This method is used to improve physical coordination, reduce pain and speed recovery from injury. Through touch and movement, I can help you with goals as varied as improving your balance, jumping higher, getting comfortably into and out of bed or your car, running faster, increasing your flexibility, improving the use of your eyes, regaining lost function after surgery or a stroke, achieving a higher level of artistic or athletic performance....
I practice from my studio in the Montclair neighborhood of Oakland and can also travel to you in the East Bay.
