My intention is to help others find a sense of ease and wholeness in the body.
Integrative Massage Therapy
The foundation of my practice is Esalen style massage - characterized by flowing, nurturing, long strokes. Within this context, I customize each session to meet individual needs, and believe that relaxation and deep therapeutic work do not always have to be mutually exclusive. I’ve helped people with headaches, TMJ issues, neck, back, shoulder, arm and wrist pain and discomfort, and more.
To address specific needs, I incorporate tools & techniques such as trigger point release, deep tissue work, hot stones, myo-fascial release, Acupressure point work, rocking, assisted stretching, cranial sacral holds, and work on the energetic body.
Specialized treatments ~ In addition to integrative massage therapy as described above, I offer the following specialty treatments:

I began studying massage and bodywork while living at the Esalen Institute, in Big Sur, CA, over a decade ago, and have continued my studies at San Francisco School of Massage, and most recently, with the Arvigo Institute.
