This two-day class explores Thai Massage approaches, techniques, and philosophy and translates it to Therapeutic Massage and Spa Table work. While typically performed on a mat on the floor, this class will present Nuad Bo Rarn, (or Traditional Thai Massage) on the Massage Table so that practitioners can employ the trademark rhythmic compressions, deep stretches, and profound energy work that Thai Massage offers in a 60 or 90 minute (and beyond!) dance with their clients. Sen lines and draping considerations will be demonstrated and discussed. Techniques for Supine, Sidelying, Seated and Prone will be demonstrated and practiced. Rooted deeply in the philosophy of this 3,000 year old modality, this workshop allow you to bring a great combination of ancient and modern bodywork together on your table.
