Supporters walk in the Walk4Hearing for many reasons: to support a family member or loved one, to create awareness of their own hearing loss, and to support the Hearing Loss Association of America (HLAA). The HLAA has seen the importance of walks for other organizations around the country and knows that these walks have created awareness and education. We believe that hearing loss is something everyone should have knowledge of. The walk is creating awareness and becoming an educational tool for HLAA, to help make hearing loss an issue of national concern.
Registration begins at 10:30 a.m. Volunteers will need to bring their own tables/chairs—a full supply list provided commitment.
It would be fun to create a team of massage therapists to walk. Each massage therapist would solicit sponsors to donate in order to raise $100.
