This is a hands-on workshop designed to enhance your knowledge of the anatomy and biomechanics of carpal tunnel syndrome, and how to assess, treat and prevent it. We will learn to address compression of the median nerve and use myofascial techniques, muscle stripping, trigger points, stretches, and nerve mobilization techniques to release the muscles and open up the carpal tunnel space in order to reduce adhesions that may affect the nerve. Before taking this class, please review the muscles of the forearm and hand.
