Orthopedic assessments are a useful tool for gathering information about a client to guide a therapist in their treatment.  This course examines orthopedic conditions of the neck and teaches various orthopedic assessments used to gather information about those pathologies.  This is a one day 2 hour CE course that combines a dynamic classroom experience with hands-on sessions. The course will discuss the pathophysiology of several orthopedic conditions including whiplash, cervical disc injuries, and thoracic outlet syndrome.  For each condition, the background, key treatment plan components, and orthopedic assessment techniques will be taught to increase your confidence in addressing these conditions and will bring immediate results to your practice.

Please bring sheet set and towels; writing utensil, and wear appropriate clothing to participate in hands on practice

Participants must have completed an accredited massage therapy program and have a comfortable working knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
